We have turned our heads to trying to force them to have any 'human rights" laws on their book. Democracy is not a word in their vocabulary.Through this shitty ass trade agreement. They have been sending government paid auto executives to copy and obtain as much automotive technology and construction . For the sole purpose to take back to China and compete in the already crowded auto market. They have taken jobs from Americans by allowing factories that where opened up by greedy American companies in China to abuse their employees and pay them an average of $13.50 a week!
The number of defected products are now going through the roof that they are sending over to not only our country, but the world. Toothpaste, fish, paper products, clothing, and now toys. And they think we are going to fall for the oki doke when they start selling their $4000.00 cars in the U.S in two years?.
And now today the news come of ANOTHER high ranking official being off'ed after ANOTHER recall has been issued in the states regarding yet ANOTHER faulty product.
The head of a Chinese manufacturing company accused of shipping hundreds of thousands of lead-tainted toys later recalled in the United States has committed suicide, a state-run newspaper said Monday.
Zhang Shuhong, who co-owned Lee Der Industrial Co. Ltd., killed himself at a warehouse over the weekend, days after China announced it had temporarily banned exports by the company, the Southern Metropolis Daily said.
Lee Der made 967,000 toys recalled earlier this month by Mattel Inc. because they were made with paint containing excessive amounts of lead. The plastic preschool toys, sold under the Fisher-Price brand in the U.S., included the popular Big Bird, Elmo, Dora and Diego characters.
It was among the largest recalls in recent months involving Chinese products, which have come under fire for globally for containing potentially dangerous high levels of chemicals and toxins.
The recall by El Segundo, California-based Mattel came just two months after RC2 Corp., a New York company, recalled 1.5 million Chinese-made wooden railroad toys and set parts from its Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway product line because of lead paint.
This has been becoming an on-going problem with China. And when do we pull the brakes on selling their products?. When millions of Americans die from them?! How in the fuck do we know that there are not people slowly dying from inhaling, handling, or even eating some of the toxic shit they are sending over here?.
The FDA says that only 5 percent of the products ship from China are even inspected! So that basically means we are fucked! And now the new controversy of letting them host the Olympics when it has been reported that the air quality in Bejing is the worst than any U.S city. Remember people. China does not have a single law on record when it comes to controlling toxin being sent into our air. In fact a leading air quality advocate agency say that most of the dust that is in the air in west coast cities can be traced to coal refineries based all the way in China!
It's getting out of hand people! And really what can we now do?. Refuse to buy products?. Boycott their summer Olympics?! Call them the new "evil empire" and have Republicans using yet another excuse to hold office?!
So if you see "Made In China"! Just remember......it really means " Do You Feel Lucky"!

Its just a goddamn shame that most americans really could give a fuck about the quality of the product or the fact that children are working in sweatshops etc as long as its cheap. Most big business, don't give a damn either because they are lining their pockets with the benefits of dealing with China. And honestly, America has no credibility anymore when it comes to protecting the environment or human rights. Until more Americans actually give a damn nothing will change. I avoid chinese products because the quality is likely low. I avoid products made in some countries because the people are working for slave wages, I will never buy a diamond because regardless of whether its supposedly a slave free diamond we all know where there is a will there's a way and that blood diamonds are still pouring into this country.
But most people couldn't give two shits.
It's a fucking shame! China will continue this obstruction against humanity unless something is done. We as Americans has let this president piss on our credibility to a point that NO ONE in this world takes us seriously. I will the cast of Star Trek could beam my ass to that place where the "tribbles" live! At least Lt. O'Houra and me could get it on!
